Hayley, a former school nurse and founder of Remedy First Aid, brings extensive experience in health education and wellbeing to school communities. She offers engaging guest speaker sessions on First Aid and Mental Health First Aid, and general health education, designed to inform and empower your staff, students, and parents, making her the ideal speaker for your school community.
Having worked directly in school settings, Hayley understands the unique challenges faced by educators and students alike. Her presentations provide practical tools to handle emergencies, promote mental health awareness, and support overall school safety. With her background in health education, Hayley ensures that the information is not only useful but also easily applied in everyday school life.

Training is most effective when staff also have access to the right equipment. Remedy First Aid Training supports schools with first aid equipment and defibrillator (AED) solutions as part of a broader safety approach.

Hayley delivered the Teen Mental Health First Aid to our Yr11 and Yr12 VCEVM students. Hayley connected very well with the students, she was friendly and approachable yet very professional.
The feedback I received from the students was overwhelmingly positive! In the days and weeks that followed, I had students approach me and tell me they were able to implement some of the strategies they learned to help themselves improve their mental health. Others approached me telling me they felt more confident in helping friends seek help, and I even had one student support a fellow student to come to me seeking counselling support!
Teenagers often talk to each other first about their troubles and it is important they learn how to have these conversations and seek appropriate support. TMHFA gives them the tools they need and I can not recommend this program highly enough!
